Denim Day
This poster and handbill were designed for an on-compus awareness campaign for California State University of Fullerton. Denim Day began as a protest in 1999 to an Italian Supreme Court decision to overturn a rape conviction because the victim was wearing jeans. The judge ruled that because her jeans were very tight, she would have had to participate in taking them off, thus making the sexual activity consensual. Denim Day honors this survivor and all survivors who have experienced victim blaming.
